The standard 9" drop fitted with two 100-watt bulbs will provide plenty of ambient light for medium to large-sized rooms. Hallways and rooms with low ceilings will require our small 13.5" diameter size. A dimmer switch is recommended to maximize dramatic effect and will turn a bright light into a fabulous night light. The off-white bisque finish is beautiful in its natural state and excellent for painting. Fixture includes all parts necessary for mounting over a standard junction box. UL-approved for damp location, this ceiling fixture may also be used in high-humidity areas such as bathrooms or screened porches.
